To all who participated in “Dancing for the Ceiling” at Cocktails & Cinema 2024! Your enthusiasm and support made this year’s FUNdraiser our most successful to date. It was exhilarating to see our community come together for a night of fun, laughter and celebration.
Three cheers to our terrific local restaurants and fine food purveyors for providing a sumptuous array of fantastic fare! From savory bits to sweet treats, every dish was a hit. Our mixologists served up a fantastic assortment of drinks and specialty cocktails that kept our spirits high and our dancing feet moving to the DJ’s awesome tunes.
Our talented State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) entertained with songs from their past musicals and a few surprise shoutouts to our sponsors throughout the evening. We shared a never-before-seen video montage of our beloved Theatre before and after the devastating ceiling collapse.
We are thrilled to share that the truss repairs will begin this month ensuring the building’s safety and longevity. The transformation of the auditorium with new seating, improved acoustics and enhanced lighting systems will offer an unparalleled experience.
This journey wouldn't be possible without the unwavering support of our community, donors, volunteers and sponsors. Your contributions, whether through time, resources, or monetary donations, are invaluable. We are incredibly grateful for your commitment to bringing our hometown Theatre back to life.
Together, we are not just restoring a building; we are revitalizing a cornerstone of our community where arts, culture, and memories can continue to thrive for generations to come. With your continued support, the curtain will rise on our newly restored Theatre soon. Thank you!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Colleen Sands, Executive Director
