Happy 2024! We hope this message finds you well and sharing our enthusiasm for this historic Theatre’s restoration and reopening. Your continued support has been instrumental in the journey of restoring Auburn State Theatre. Although our progress has not been as rapid as we all would like, we continue to persevere in bringing the Theatre back better than ever. The abatement and remediation portion of the project is complete. We are now in the engineering phase to create structure for the Theatre ceiling, enabling its ability to serve future generations as a local venue for world-class entertainment.
We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you. Whether you’re a patron, donor, volunteer, or a member of our community, your support has been invaluable. Together we are not just restoring a Theatre; we are preserving a piece of our shared history. If you haven’t already, please consider attending events, which are being held off site, or making a donation in support of the restoration.
In closing, thank you for being an essential part of Auburn State Theatre’s family. Your passion for preserving our heritage is what makes our community truly exceptional. We are now moving forward with the design of the Theatre and will be sharing more updates with you soon.
Sincerely,
Colleen M. Carberry Sands
