FILM SCHEDULE:

SESSION 1

Stakeout, Winner Best Whitewater - Eastern Canada attracts the world's best paddlers to its huge variety of whitewater and big waves formed by the spring melt.

Georgie - A forgotten raft rediscovered at a yard sale narrates her story of running rivers. From her wild days with legendary Georgie White in the Grand Canyon to leisurely weekend floats, Georgie’s wisdom rings true to every generation of river traveler.

On The Edge - Five women set out on an eight-day, 65-mile pack rafting journey deep in the wilderness of Montana. A trip inspired by self-growth, adventure and world-class westslope cutthroat trout fishing quickly evolves into a deeper exploration of how we are on the edge of a new climate era.

Changing the Flow – Sita Thapa found independence from traditional expectations as a river guide. In 2018, she and three other female paddlers started a company, The Himalayan Adventure Girls—the first all-female rafting company in Nepal.

Bad River, Winner Best Environmental - In a little red kayak, Beau Miles descends the 23-kilometer-long Cooks River in Sydney, Australia. This is a journey of overcoming adversity and finding new hope.

SESSION 2

A Baffin Vacation, Winner Best Adventure - Erik Boomer and Sarah McNair-Landry set off on a bold 45-day expedition — traveling through the remote landscape of Baffin Island in search of stunning cliffs to climb and unexplored rivers to whitewater kayak.

Paddle Tribal Waters - In 2024, the largest dam removal project in history will be completed on the Klamath River running through Oregon and California. It will be a monumental victory for Indigenous communities who have been fighting for over a century and make the Klamath free-flowing once again. Paddle Tribal Waters follows the group of Native youth who plan to lead the first descent of the restored river from source to sea.

Wild Waters - Winner Best Documentary - Adventurer, competitor, pioneer, hero and badass human are words used to describe French kayaker, Nouria Newman. In Wild Waters, we watch her grow from a young Olympic hopeful to one of the greatest kayakers of all time. Follow Nouria as she prepares to become the first female to run a 100-foot waterfall.
