The State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) was formed in 2015 with the mission to bring a high-level community theater production company to Auburn. The company is the performing arts arm of Auburn State Theatre. STAC’s first production was
The Music Man in 2016. Since then, STAC has brought the following productions to the stage:
Sister Act, Annie, Young Frankenstein, Mamma Mia!, The Drowsy Chaperone
and The Game's Afoot.
STAC’s Golden Age Radio Theatre is back! From the group that brought you larger-than-life musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Young Frankenstein, and Sister Act as well as their recent comedy-thriller “The Game’s Afoot,” State Theatre Acting Company (STAC) presents a collection of radio plays in a variety of genres performed by costumed actors, complete with sound effects.
Performances will be presented at First Congregational Church (710 Auburn Ravine Road, Auburn) starting at 7:00 p.m. Performances will be outdoors as weather permits, so dress for the weather, bring your own chairs, blankets, and picnic, and enjoy!
Radio Shows are FREE, with donations gratefully accepted.
In addition to these productions STAC offers acting, musical theatre dance, and vocal classes.
STAC is proud to offer opportunities to perform, create and assist in live theatre for our community, whether as an actor, carpenter or back stage assistance or promotion.
Auditions for shows are typically announced via the
STAC Facebook page roughly six weeks prior to all productions.
